Hume's famous argument against miracles can be, and has been, discussed by philosophers using Bayes Rule. We do so as well, but focus on the mathematical structure of the argument rather than what seem to us to be somewhat arbitrary probabilities. Our analysis shows a sceptic can be rational without being scientific, a charge sometimes levelled against religious fundamentalists.
